The hall has recently had a major upgrade to incorporate a High Definition Blu-rayTM projection system with 3D surround sound as well as dimable lighting and improved seating. The Hall now also operates as a cinema under the Yelverton Community Projects charity and regularly shows a variety of films catering for different ages and tastes. The building hosts a number of regular and one off functions throughout the week including a pre-school and nursery, a badminton club and a luncheon club.
